I have a great opportunity working for a School based in Preston (HA9). We are looking for a School Finance Officer (temp to perm). Full time with some flexibility in the school holidays such as partially working from home. Someone with school finance experience ideally and even better if they have experience working with FMS (financial software). The role will initially be temporary paying up to £17 per hour, previous school Finance experience is essential, duties will include:
• Full responsibility and management of all Lettings administration (invoicing, receipting, debtor records, etc) and liaison with Premises Manager.• Maintain Aged Debtor Lists and pursue outstanding debts.• Full responsibility for all student bursary accounts in including management of bursary accounts and liaison with Assistant Head.• Processing orders on Financial Management System (FMS) in accordance with financial regulations and school policies.• Updating BACS details and making appropriate checks for all suppliers as applicable.• Responsibility for ensuring correct budgetary coding is used for all orders and invoices.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required, if you have a valid enhanced DBS Certificate that would be ideal.
