Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Virtual Assistant to support an upcoming fundraising round. The role is primarily research-focused, with a secondary outreach component. Your main responsibility will be identifying and organizing a large list of relevant angel investors and small VC firms across Europe and the US, and then helping us introduce our project to them.
This role is ideal for someone who is excellent at online research, comfortable finding contact details across multiple platforms, and confident with structured outreach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Research (Primary Focus)
Research and compile a list of ~1,000 potential investors (angel investors and small VC firms)
Focus on investors based in Europe and the United States
Identify investors that are a strong strategic fit for our project and upcoming round
Collect accurate contact details (email, LinkedIn, websites, etc.)
Use multiple platforms and sources (e.g. LinkedIn, Crunchbase, AngelList, websites, databases) to avoid over-reliance on any single platform
Organize all findings clearly in a shared spreadsheet or CRM
2. Investor Outreach (Secondary Focus)
Reach out to selected investors using messaging templates and materials we provide
Conduct outreach via email and/or LinkedIn, following clear instructions
Track outreach status, responses, and follow-ups
Maintain professionalism and consistency in all communications
What We're Looking For
Strong research skills and attention to detail
Very comfortable finding contact information online
Ability to work methodically through large research tasks
Organized and reliable, with good documentation habits
Clear written English
Able to follow structured processes and instructions
Prior experience in fundraising or venture capital is not required. We care much more about your research ability, persistence, and organization.
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
Experience with lead generation, prospecting, or outreach
Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, or CRMs
Experience researching investors, startups, or B2B leads

Outreach phase begins after the research phase

Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
