Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker
Join NHS Scotland as a Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker at the North Sutherland Health and Social Care Team in Bettyhill. This role supports patients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and providing post‑hospital care.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist with enabling people to maintain their independence at home and support people after hospital discharge.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and high standards of patient care.
* Use own initiative, adapt to changing service requirements and support the delivery of a high quality service to the local community.
Qualifications and experience:
* Experience not required; full training provided.
* Opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
* A valid driving licence and independent access to a vehicle is essential.
Contract: Permanent part‑time (22.5 hours per week). Typical hours 7:00 am – 2:00 pm, 4 days on and 4 days off.
Visa: This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. The employer cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship.
