We are a long-established private property company in Luton. We own and manage a large portfolio of residential properties across the area, ranging from single lets to houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). Our busy in-house team handles everything directly — lettings, management, compliance, maintenance — ensuring our tenants receive a professional, responsive service and our properties remain well looked after.
The Role
We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, good people skills, and a desire to build a career in property or learn a new skill. You will support the Property Managers, Office Manager & senior staff as well as the smooth day-to-day running of our portfolio, learning all aspects of property management with guidance from senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a first point of contact for tenants, responding to queries quickly and professionally
* Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and suppliers
* Carry out property inspections, move-ins and move-outs
* Ensure properties remain compliant with health & safety and legal requirements (fire, gas, electrical etc.)
* Assist with lettings process: advertising, viewings, referencing, tenancy paperwork
* Help manage rental payments, arrears, and general tenant administration
* Support the team with any ad-hoc projects to improve and maintain the portfolio

Essential:
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Good organisational ability and attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to visit properties across Luton and surrounding areas (full UK driving licence and own vehicle required)
Desirable:
* Previous experience in property, lettings, or a customer-facing role
* Knowledge of property legislation and compliance (training will be provided)
* Polish speaking
