What will the successful Auto Electrician do? Diagnose and repair electrical faults on HGVs Install, maintain, and repair vehicle wiring systems and electrical components Work on lighting systems, indicators, and electrical braking systems Service and repair starters, alternators, and battery systems Diagnose and fix faults with ECU systems Install and configure telematics, tracking devices, and cameras Maintain and repair air conditioning electrical systems Ensure compliance with health, safety, and vehicle standards Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues Prepare vehicles for MOT by checking and repairing electrical faults Work from wiring diagrams and technical manuals Keep accurate records of repairs and parts usedThe successful Auto Electrician will have: Level 2 qualification or equivalent (NVQ/City & Guilds).
