Head of Packaging - supreme expert wanted

Salary to £110,000 + full exec package
Our client, a £750m UK Subsidiary of a global branded food giant at £15bn, is on the hunt for a Packaging Leader. You are at the top of your game, a senior manager, or simply poised to be with this move, a champion of change who has the ambition to take a portfolio of brands to #1 in a £3bn ambient food category. The remit is simple; you will lead the Packaging agenda, from development to execution with a team of nine experts alongside. This is a job for grown-ups!
Packaging sits at the forefront of continuous innovation and improvement within the working culture of this business, now relentless in its pursuit to take the lead title as category authority in the eyes of the retailer grocery trade. This is a vital leadership, yet hands-on role in shaping and developing future strategy. Thinking and acting with conviction and fearlessness must be your natural MO. You will have masses of freedom to make this role your own. Your combined knowledge, technical skill (PMP, APICS & IoPP) and experience, coupled with commercial savvy equips you to succeed. This role is principally about driving excellence in packaging development - providing insight and expertise on material innovation and technical developments… staying ahead of the competition and keeping up with industry trends.
