Manager, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Operations – AMP (Art & Metadata)
The Manager, DTC Operations,AMP,is responsible forthe end-to-end managementof Artwork andmetadataforDTC titlestoDisney+in EMEA. This role oversees the creation, coordination, and delivery of all required assets within the Art & Metadata pipeline, acrossthedifferent workstreams, including EMEA local Originals, Acquisition content, NationalGeographicandSports. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, resource planning,cross-teamcollaborationandensuringtimely, cost-effective production of digital assets to support the company’s Direct-to-Consumer services.
They will interact with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited toglobal AMPteams, EMEACreative Operations,territory Marketing teams,regionalprogramming, and other members of the Distribution Ops team and will play a key role in managinginternal and external vendors.The manager willbe requiredto manage other team membersanddemonstratean understanding of all workflowsand requirementas part of DTC.
Thisperson and their teamoperateina highly complex,oftenhigh-pressuredenvironment. Theprovenability tooperateeffectivelyunder pressure is paramount.
Areas ofAccountability:
Art & Metadata Project Management
1. Manages / Overseesa team to ensure completion ofArt & Metadataassets in linewithgloballyagreed deadlines andspecifications(SLAs)andbudgetwhile ensuring creative consistency.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative Ops, local marketing teams,Production management,LondonHubandMerchandising) to ensure all art and design meet project requirements and align with brand guidelines.
3. Provides feedback andcollaboration with regional AMP teamsto improve workflowsandensure that businessobjectivesaremetand new technical opportunities are adopted.
4. Assumes responsibility for hitting vendor-managed targets in alignment with Disney’s Quality Management System (QMS) process of on time and rightfirst-timedelivery.
5. Buildsclose and effective working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure that content is delivered to the highest quality in theappropriate timeline, serving asan initialescalation point for issue resolution.
6. Contributes toplanning forspecific projects providingArt & Metadataexpertise, cost information, and project timelines.
7. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure AMPsystems are efficient, scalable, and support enhanced user experience
8. Create, process, andmaintainoriginal descriptive metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards
Vendor management:
9. The Manager will be expected to build relationships withaccount managersofvendor partnersto ensure best practice andhigh-qualitydelivery requirements of assets.
10. The Manager will work with the Senior Managerto decide on the mostappropriate vendorstrategybased on performance, cost,capacity,peopleandexpertise.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required:
16. 4+ years’ experience in operations
17. 4+ years’ experience in high volume distribution transactions in complex business environments, across multiple markets.
18. Experience managing a team isbeneficial but not mandatory
19. Vendor management
20. Experience at dealing with and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders across a global remit at a senior level.
