The Global Fund Services business is one of the fastest growing areas in Northern Trust, offering a comprehensive suite of fund products and services to Asset Managers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team delivering end-to-end NAV Oversight and fund accounting services for Northern Trust clients.
* Manage consultants to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
* Resolve complex client reporting/accounting issues and act as Fund Accounting SME in client meetings.
* Provide leadership, foster teamwork, and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
* Partner across regions to align on requirements and expectations.
* Ensure compliance with SLAs, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
* Oversee staffing, resource allocation, and operational performance.
* Represent Fund Accounting Management on enterprise projects and initiatives.
Skills & Experience
* Extensive fund accounting experience within asset management, custodian banks, or third-party administrators.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, including virtual teams.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements, control processes, and multi-product structures (e.g., OEICs, ACS, IT, AIFs, TTFs).
* Proven ability to deliver BAU and drive operational improvements.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
* Client-focused mindset with problem-solving and influencing skills.
* Experience participating in enterprise-wide projects and client meetings as SME.
