Job Title: HR Advisor / HR Business Partner
Location: Brighton – Hybrid
Our client is currently looking to recruit a HR Consultant on an initially 3-month contract.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will have previous experience as an HR Advisor / HR Consultant and ideally have worked within the public sector or a unionised environment. Responsibilities include:
* Completing investigations under formal HR procedures, including disciplinaries and attendance management.
* Providing advice to employees and managers to resolve people management issues.
* Managing own caseload and projects.
* Identifying opportunities to improve organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing managers with consistent, pragmatic, and effective advice on managing and resolving people issues across various HR areas, while mitigating risks and optimizing resources.
* Working in partnership with senior client groups to understand their services and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities for operational and strategic interventions based on external best practices.
* Managing HR & OD casework and projects, delivering high-quality, professional, and solution-oriented services.
* Assessing or analyzing situations, presenting findings, and recommending solutions for complex issues to support decision-making.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be CIPD Qualified; however, this is not essential.
