Access and Safeguarding Lead Officer - Adults Services

About the role:
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to support the current Access & safeguarding Lead officer in the delivery of a number of projects and initiatives within this field. This will include:
* Review of the front door model including scoping the opportunity of AI technology for initial advise and assistance to residents, learning from others.
* Determining demand alongside forecasting future demand presenting to the front door, and the resources required to manage this
* Reviewing the process flow between access and locality teams
* Determining the most suitable business process for links with iSPA
* Supporting with BAU activity including links with Tees Adults Safeguarding Board, and investigating the safeguarding concerns, conversion to s.42 enquiries and outcomes.
* Understanding the workflow from hospital to access with regard to pathway 1,2 and 3
* Supporting with the structure design of the Directorate.
This post will be delivered as Hybrid working, with a minimum of 1day in the office.
What you need:
* A degree in Social Work or equivalent
* Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
* At least 3 yearsPQE direct employmentwithinEnglish Local Authorities
* Completed relevant post-qualifying training
* Enhanced DBS check
* Excellent communication and written skills
