Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Reducing Restrictive Practice Lead to join our team at a specialist mental health service for young people with complex needs.
">
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience at a senior clinician level and will work as an autonomous practitioner providing advanced expert clinical nursing practice in relation to reducing Restrictive Practice.
">
Key responsibilities include working with multi-professional teams, providing expert advice regarding service users with highly complex needs, and delivering Positive and Safe training.
">
The postholder will also be responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of our Reducing Restrictive Practice plan, ensuring relevant lessons are learnt from serious incidents.
">
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and develop a least restrictive, person-centred culture, evidenced based practice and set, maintain and develop professional standards for nurses.
">
They will manage the Positive and Safe team and provide supervision and management support to the reducing restrictive practice practitioner.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
