Chef de Partie- Exciting opportunity to grow within a highly experienced team!
We are looking for a talented, experienced and professional Chef de Partie to join our team looking after our prestigious Military Members Club in central London. The building consists of 200 bedrooms, 7 function rooms and extensive dining rooms. You will be responsible to cover specific service periods within our Club Restaurant services and Banqueting kitchen. You will also be responsible for a section in the kitchen and be able to demonstrate effective kitchen organisational and supervisory skills. We are looking for a proactive forward-thinking ambitious chef who will perform consistently in line with the Club's high standards.
Required Skills/Experience
- Excellent food productionand presentation skills
- Ability to organise effectivelyand be able to work quickly with a level head when under pressure
- Experience in a similar Hotel/Club/Contract Catering operation
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene is required
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team under pressure
- Banqueting experienceas well as restaurant experience is desirable
- Fine dining experience would be an advantage
The role will mainly cover the sauce section in the restaurant and events.
Normal shifts 11am until 10pm- 4 days per week plus overtime.
