Position
Learning Support Assistant
30 hours per week, 5 days a week (6 hours a day). Learning Support Assistant for 30 hours per week for 5 days a week required to start asap within the school to support students with additional needs.
Responsibilities
* Mainly based in the classroom, and working with small groups of students to support their individual and collective development, both academically and in their general wellbeing.
* Support the SENCO and SEND department to help improve student outcomes and raise standards.
* Collaborate within the SEND department, which comprises 6 Learning Support Assistants.
* Engage with CPD opportunities, including training from Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and other professionals.
* Utilise allocated admin time to complete tasks, training and plan for enrichment groups.
