Your role and responsibilities You'll undertake the day-to-day management of the administrative staff within the Business Support team. On a daily basis you will work closely with the wider Corporate Parenting Service, the Heads of Service and individual team managers. M anagement supervision and access to our in-house training will support you in your role. You should apply if you are a confident communicator as well as a strong team player who is able to work in a solution-focused manner. You should also be a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills who can work on your own initiative with the ability to work to conflicting deadlines. You will need relevant experience and knowledge to be able to manage staff in a busy, fast-paced working environment to include recruitment, training, performance reviews and staff’s personal development to be a good communicator who can provide advice and guidance to your staff on a range of administrative procedures and be able to deal effectively with any people issues in the team to be proactive in assessing and reviewing current procedures, looking at ways to streamline and improve where needed good working knowledge of Microsoft packages to be organised to prioritise your own work and the work of others to meet deadlines a good working knowledge of providing support in the areas of Data Protection, Business Continuity, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Recruitment and Finance.
