Playtech's Tax Team is looking for a proactive, hands-on and enthusiastic Tax Reporting Manager with excellent communication and reporting skills.
Your influential mission. You will..
* Have a strong understanding of the UK tax legislation relating to corporate taxes including the CFC and CIR rules. This will be essential for providing tax technical input on group projects including financing, group restructurings, expansions and M&A.
* Manage group tax reporting including the year end and interim tax reporting process, including updating Group ETR forecast and cash tax analysis.
* Review year end current and deferred tax consolidation schedules for the group including the tax disclosures for the consolidated and significant entity accounts.
* Manage all aspects of UK corporate tax compliance, including the review of the UK tax computations and returns as prepared by external advisors. Work with finance to review the tax returns for significant overseas group companies as prepared by local tax advisers.
* Manage the group’s CBCR and Pillar 2 compliance.
* Assist with the review of the group’s RDEC claim.
* Actively review and monitor UK tax risks and relevant controls and processes, including responsibility for the group’s senior accounting officer reporting workstreams.
* Assist with group tax projects such as streamlining inter-company balances and legal entity rationalisation.
* Assist in managing relationships and dialogue with HMRC.
* Work across the business units within the group, partnering with key stakeholders including the wider finance team, internal audit, legal and compliance and to advocate commercially focused and pragmatic tax solutions.
Qualifications

* Must be qualified ACA or CTA
* Should be trained in tax with a Top 10 accountancy firm or in-house.
* Must have the ability to build relationships across the organisation
* Have Tax Manager level experience
* Must have proven ability to work to deadlines in a complex environment, with key skills being attention to detail and effective project management
* Must have extensive and a strong understanding of tax accounting for UK listed groups
* Will have strong technical knowledge of UK tax law

Our Tax Team are a London based multi-disciplinary tax team consisting of experienced Accounting, International Tax, Transfer Pricing and VAT specialists.
