Product Owner
In this role, you will be responsible for Sensoteq’s new generation of hardware products. You will anticipate customer needs through ongoing engagement with end users and field experts. Communicating the product roadmap to both executive and creative teams involves writing clear user stories and assisting with their refinement.
Sensoteq designs and develops both software and hardware products that integrate seamlessly, offering a unique opportunity for the Product Owner to influence the entire product lifecycle. This role provides ample opportunities for personal growth and the potential to advance to a Product Manager position, contingent on commercial awareness and ambition.
Key Job Functions
1. Own Sensoteq’s next-generation sensing products.
2. Develop deep domain knowledge within the company.
3. Gather customer feedback to ensure products meet their needs.
4. Create and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals.
5. Collaborate with other product owners to ensure consistency across products.
6. Drive product development by writing user stories and refining the backlog.
7. Continuously improve the product development process.
8. Share product knowledge through training and documentation.
9. Travel to customer sites to better understand their requirements.
Requirements
1. Degree in software, engineering, business, or related field.
2. Over 5 years of experience in product ownership, system engineering, or project management.
3. Proven success in product delivery.
4. Experience with hardware products.
5. Willingness to work in a hybrid environment.
6. Availability for occasional travel.
7. Right to work in the UK.
