The Opportunity: You'll work closely with the management team looking after day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements using XERO. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions. Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow. Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets. Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Support the Finance Manager with various financial tasks and reporting. Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data report. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant role. Confident using Xero / QuickBooks / Sage accounting software (or equivalent). Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in the UK. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. AAT qualification or working towards it is desirable but not necessary.
