Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Person at Agincare Homes Holdings, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds at the St Peters care home in Bexhill-on-Sea. What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
* Previous experience required in maintenance and gardening
* This is a full time role at 36 to 40 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
A day in the life of a Maintenance Person
* You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements
* You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows.
* If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor.
* Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all of our residents.
* You will ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
