Head of Sales

£73,489 - £77,357 per year plus Company car or car allowance
35 hours per week – Monday to Friday (with some potential weekends)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join our team. The position of Head of Sales sits within our Development department which manages the delivery and development of the Group's affordable housing, market sale, grant funded and regeneration programmes and projects across the UK.
The role of Head of Sales will include:
* Leading on the strategic development of the Group’s commercial programme, by managing housing sales to ensure new homes are sold effectively and efficiently to optimise the returns on the investment in new housing
* Identifying new business opportunities by researching and reporting on the market conditions surrounding existing and proposed projects, to support sales strategies
* Managing the review and development of the sales process, working with the marketing teams, to ensure effective procedures are in place to meet financial regulations, drive good profitable practices and achieve compliance regulations
* Supporting the Director in continually reviewing and developing the commercial aspects of the business plan, ensuring appropriate strategies, policies and procedures are developed and implemented successfully
* Building and managing relationships with internal and external customers at all levels, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
* Supporting the Director with writing Board reports in line with Group requirements
Skills and experiences:
* Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification preferably in a development related discipline including contractual management
* Recent comprehensive experience in a similar role
* Comprehensive experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
* Experience in report writing
* Experience in excel spreadsheets and financial reporting
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
