Key Responsibilities Lead the review all manufacturing processes, seek best practice and standardise Lead departmental objectives of material variances and yield through effective use of resources. Lead the culture of continuous process improvement. Lead product yield meeting review track actions and cost Lead foreign body reduction plan Ensure your area is kept clean, tidy and floors always remain dry. Ensure that GMP standards are met Ensure quality is always maintained to the QAS and Customer Specifications and any deviations are rectified and reported immediately. If any QAS boards are missing this is to be reported immediately to the designated department Drive productivity and efficiency without compromising quality through the Manufacturing Leaders Work with Finance to develop a dashboard for material control KPI's and communicate track progress. Audit processes to ensure in line with the SOPs and track progress Look to process improvements and work alongside Technical Engineer on projects You Will Need: Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Customer Codes of Practice. Understanding of HACCP and quality control. Customer focused. Proactive, practical and methodical. Understanding of practical application of HR processes. People management skills (e.g. counselling skills, training needs analysis, disciplinary & investigation hearings). Planning and organising skills. Interpersonal skills including the ability to evaluate and respond appropriately. PC skills are essential as is a good level of literacy and numeracy NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Management is desirable but not essential Level 3 in Food Safety Why Work for us?
