Position
Healthcare Support Worker (HSCW) – Band 2 at Hospital of St Cross, Rugby & University Hospital Coventry within Medicine, Surgery & Women’s and Children’s.
Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Nursing staff in delivering personal care and assistance for patients.
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 2 BTEC Diploma or extended Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and social care.
* Previous care experience or experience in a person‑centred & public facing role.
* Excellent communication skills, caring and compassionate nature, and a desire to help others.
Additional Requirements
* Must provide an immunisation and vaccination report from a UK occupational health provider or UK GP.
Salary and Working Patterns
* Band 2 – £25,272 plus enhancements. Full and part‑time posts available. Salary pro‑rate for part‑time staff.
Recruitment Process
* Assessment centre & interviews held 7th May 2026 at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, Clinical Science Building.
* Interview with nursing teams from Theatres & Trauma & Orthopaedics.
