Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will join an established People team and be responsbile for working with stakeholders across the business to coach and advise on HR related issues for this growing and thriving manufacturing and engineering business including:
Managing a high volume of employee relations casework advising managers on employment law
Handle complex and sensitive cases by providing clear, practical advice and make timely decisions
Coaching and guiding managers on HR policies, processes and embedding best practice across the business
Supporting apprentice performance reviews and development conversations and interviews
Prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced, operational environment
Build strong relationships with union representatives and support effective union engagement
The right person for this HR Advisor role will have the following attributes:
At least 2 years' experience in a HR Advisor role or above, preferably in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics/Distribution environment
Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or working towards this
Experienced in dealing with high-volume complex ER casework
