The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Account on behalf of a manufacturing company with offices in Luton
The Role
To play a key role in the finance team - Residential Division, involved in all internal and external financial reporting, providing value adding management information and analysis, to challenge the business to drive improvement, and ultimately support the business in delivering it's strategy and achieving it's objectives.
Day to day duties will consist of:
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support the Finance Director with all FP&A activity including but not limited to:
1. Cash flow forecasting
2. Rolling P&L forecast
3. Annual Budget
4. 3 Year Planning
5. Capital Expenditure Budgets and Forecasts
Internal reporting
Support the Finance Director with all UK and Group reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, including but not limited to:
6. Daily sales and order intake
7. Monthly P&L by depot/region including allocation of central costs
8. Monthly reporting of key customers/sales/profitability
9. Monthly & Quarterly P&L reporting
10. Quarterly Capex and IFRS16 Lease reporting and Ad hoc reporting as required by customers/key accounts
External reporting
Support the Finance Director with all external reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, including but not limited to:
11. VAT returns
12. Corporation Tax returns
13. CIS returns
14. National Statistics surveys and returns
15. Annual statutory financial statements
16. Insurance requests, working closely with appointed group insurance broker

17. Part Qualified or Trainee Accountant
18. Self-motivated and driven to succeed
19. Able to manage own workload and deliver to tight deadlines
20. Experience of people management

24. Aptitude for problem solving
25. Strong Excel skills and highly numerate
26. Strong relationship building skills
27. Excellent communication skills
28. Experience in using Business Central and Jet Reporting would be advantageous
29. Willing and able to present reports and analysis to key stakeholders
30. Experience of working in a multi-site environment would be beneficial
Salary and Benefits
Role of the Assistant Management Account in Luton is paying a Salary of £35,000 - dependant on experience. Work hours 8.30am-5pm Monday - Friday 40hrs (30 min break). Fulltime in the office. 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, free parking, pension.
