Project Worker (Child Sexual Exploitation)

Location: Nottingham County (NG & Surrounding Areas)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Hourly Pay: £12.80 + £1.54 holiday = £14.34 per hour
OR Umbrella pay: £16.82 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent (Funding until September 2026, subject to extension)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Project Worker to join a dynamic team tackling Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) in Nottingham County. This is an exciting and impactful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and their families, providing vital support to those at risk of exploitation.

Role Overview:

As a Project Worker, you will work closely with young people at risk of CSE, providing support, advocacy, and protection through tailored interventions and partnership working with various agencies. You will empower young people, parents, and carers by helping them access necessary services and navigate challenges related to CSE.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct support and intervention to children and young people at risk of CSE.
Develop and implement safety plans and risk assessments in collaboration with young people, their families, and other professionals.
Build strong working relationships with young people, their parents, and carers within the community.
Actively engage in multi-agency working to ensure coordinated support for young people at risk.
Communicate effectively with young people, families, and external agencies, both orally and in writing.
Use IT systems effectively to maintain accurate records and case notes.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with care and professionalism.
Provide support and guidance on a range of issues impacting young people, including but not limited to, relationships, mental health, and safeguarding.Essential Requirements:

Social Work Degree or Relevant Qualification or equivalent experience in safeguarding or a related field.
Minimum 6 months experience working within the Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) sector.
Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting young people at risk of CSE.
Proven experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating support activities for children and young people.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to engage effectively with young people and their families.
Experience in working in partnership with a variety of agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Ability to handle sensitive information with tact and confidentiality.What We Offer:
