We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator/Secretary to provide immediate short-term support in our Ipswich office. This role is perfect for someone available for temporary work or interested in a temporary-to-permanent opportunity as we look to recruit this position on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing client phone calls and emails.
* Setting up new files for clients.
* Arranging bridging funds.
* Preparing reports (mortgage, water, local authority, and bankruptcy)
* Downloading title deeds from the Land Registry.
* Handling property exchanges and completions.
* Dealing with all post-completion paperwork.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a support role with the legal industry is required. Previous experience in the residential conveyancing sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
