RG Consultancy are working with a medium sized and fast growing construction business in Heywood who are recruiting a Sales Ledger Supervisor to join a small finance team. You will oversee and manage the Sales Ledger function and supervise a small team of two people.

The Role
* To oversee and manage the Sales Ledger function within the finance department
* Ensure the accurate reporting to the accountant periodically and year end
* To ensure the sales ledger invoices are processed, queried and reconciled
* Responsible for the forward planning, deadline settings and ensure team are adhering to and achieving these
* Process invoices, payments and customer related queries
* Raising credits
* Any adhoc dudites to support the Sales Ledger/Credit Control function as required
The Person
* Experience within a people management or supervisory role in a finance/accounts setting
* Leadership skills to supervise a small team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
* Experienced in MS Excel and SAGE is highly desirable
* Studying towards an ACCA or CIMA qualification would be an advantage but not essential
