It’s a busy role, some days it’s chaos, but this will suit someone who absolutely thrives in that. Not a wall flower, not someone who flaps in the pressure, someone who loves it and succeeds in it too.
Titled Operations Administrator, you’ll work with all departments in the company, you’re the focal point of projects, installations, sales, customer service and directors. Spinning many plates, pivoting, you name it, you’re involved.
You’ll be ensuring that projects are coordinated and organised with the site staff on site at the right time with what they need – from equipment to RAMs and plans. You’ll even attend site to check access and equipment required, as well as supporting directors and the wider team with what they need too.
Listen, this is a challenge, there’s no doubt about that and it’s not going to be for everyone, but if you’re that dog with a bone type that looks being in the thick of it and the hustle and bustle – ideal.
Skills, experience, systems, all that can be taught, what matters here is personality. Yes, you need a couple of years office administration experience, perhaps in a small business where you’ve worked in a really varied role, but the rest will be taught.
