Location: Moulton Park, Northampton Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (on-site in factory environment working from home two days a week) Salary: £32 -36k About the Role Our client, based in Moulton Park, Northampton, is a specialist manufacturer producing a wide range of bespoke wooden products for both commercial and private customers. They are seeking a robust, adaptable Back Office / Operations Support professional who can take ownership of a variety of tasks and ensure the smooth running of operations. This is a varied, hands-on position that will see you working closely with the management team and factory staff, supporting everything from accounts administration to stock control and general back-office duties. Its a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and has the resilience to work in a busy factory setting. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounts administration (raising invoices, processing payments, reconciliations, liaising with suppliers and customers). Oversee factory inventories and stock management monitoring levels, updating records, and coordinating with production. Support purchasing and ordering of materials and supplies. Provide general back-office and administrative support to the management team. Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with internal processes. Act as a link between the office and the factory floor to make sure production and administration run seamlessly. Get involved across a variety of operational tasks as needed to keep things moving. Skills & Experience Background in accounts administration and stock/inventory management. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Strong, practical, and resilient character comfortable in a fast-paced factory environment. Good communicator, able to work well with colleagues at all levels and external suppliers/customers. IT literate, with good knowledge of MS Office; experience with accounts software would be an advantage. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential. The Person This role will suit someone who: Has a robust and hands-on approach.
