The British Ironwork Centre is looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to support our office and purchasing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in administration or looking to gain experience within purchasing.
The Role
You'll work closely with the purchasing team, helping with day-to-day administrative tasks and supporting the ordering and supplier process. This role suits someone who is keen to learn, well organised, and comfortable working in a busy office environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing general administrative support to the purchasing team
* Assisting with raising purchase orders and updating order information
* Helping to maintain accurate supplier and purchasing records
* Updating internal systems and spreadsheets with purchasing information
* Assisting with matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
* Monitoring order progress and flagging any issues to the purchasing team
* Supporting internal departments with purchasing-related requests
* Carrying out general office and admin tasks as required
