Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Banstead, South East
A highly regarded independent small animal practice is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team in Banstead. Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality consultations and routine soft tissue surgery with strong client communication.
* Work within a modern, well-equipped hospital including digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, isolation ward, and dedicated patient areas.
* Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinary surgeons, certificate holders, and an internal medicine specialist to deliver first-opinion and advanced care.
* Engage in professional development; the practice supports further qualifications and certificate work.
Qualifications / Skills
* Confident, compassionate veterinary surgeon with good communication skills.
* Comfortable with consultations and routine soft tissue surgery.
Benefits and Work Pattern
* 4-day week with a shared 1 in 4 weekend rota; no out-of-hours requirements.
* Routine 20-minute consultations to enable thorough patient care.
* Salary £45,000 – £65,000 per year (dependent on experience).
