Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Houghton Le Spring they are now recruiting for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor.
The Role
1. The Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor will provide both leadership and hands-on support for all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at the manufacturing facility.
2. Working closely with the Plant Manager and the central EHS function, this is a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, sustainably and in full compliance with UK legislation.
3. You will be instrumental in developing an autonomous safety culture, maintaining ISO management systems, and driving continuous improvement through employee engagement and operational excellence.
4. Ensure compliance with all UK environmental, health, and safety legislation.
5. Develop, implement and maintain ISO systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
