FP&A Analyst (Workday Adaptive Planning) – 12-Month FTC | Potential to Go Permanent
📍 Hybrid – Southampton (1–2 days onsite per week)
Are you an FP&A Consultant with hands‑on experience in financial planning systems, particularly Workday Adaptive Planning?
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of FP&A reporting and planning processes, helping to build out, automate, and optimise budgeting and forecasting capabilities within Workday Adaptive Planning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining finance with systems improvement, ensuring the business gets maximum value from its planning tools.
You’ll play a key role in developing FP&A reporting frameworks, improving financial processes, and embedding best practice forecasting and budgeting within the system.
What you’ll do
* Build and maintain robust financial models, reporting, and dashboards to support decision‑making
* Lead the development and optimisation of FP&A reporting within Workday Adaptive Planning
* Automate and streamline budgeting and forecasting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
* Work closely with finance leadership and business stakeholders to embed improved financial planning processes
* Support the ongoing adoption and capability development of Workday Adaptive Planning
What we’re looking for
* Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within a fast‑paced commercial environment
* Hands‑on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
* Experience building reports, planning models, or automating budgeting/forecasting processes in a financial planning system
* Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to translate financial data into clear insights that influence decision‑making
💡 We’re particularly interested in candidates who have worked extensively with Workday Adaptive Planning.
However, candidates with strong experience in similar financial planning and performance management systems such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, IBM TM1, Anaplan, OneStream, or similar FP&A platforms will also be considered.
