Job Description: You will provide practical, operational HR support across the LANCE contract at RAF Marham, with occasional travel to RAF Coningsby to support TYTAN. Working closely with HR Business Partners and People Managers, you will deliver HR processes, support organisational change, and strengthen coordination apability. Your role requires sound judgement, considerable employment relations experience, and the ability to apply HR policy effectively within a fast‑paced, unionised environment. Core duties: Partner with the HR Manager and People Managers to plan and deliver the People Plan across the business or business unit Build secure working relationships to guide, influence and support change, using your understanding of the organisation to enable positive outcomes Provide clear, practical advice on employment matters, performance topics and organisational change, working with specialist teams to ensure appropriate support Coach and guide managers to strengthen capability and support consistent delivery of people‑related activity Coordinate, support or contribute to HR projects, coordinating smaller work packages and providing structure and input to larger programmes Essential Skills: Experience in employee relations, including supporting informal resolution and early conversations Solid understanding of HR policies and how they are applied in practice Comfortable working within a unionised environment and building constructive working relationships Good understanding of employment legislation and how it informs day‑to‑day people practices CIPD Level 5, a degree in HR or Business, or relevant HR experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge The LANCE HR Team: The team provides practical, people‑focused support to managers and colleagues across the business. Working closely with HR Business Partners, the team delivers HR processes, projects and change activity, ensuring solutions are embedded effectively and aligned to operational priorities within a fast‑moving environment.
