The Role
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing, growing and retaining a portfolio of MSP customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, working closely with decision‑makers to understand their business goals, shape IT roadmaps and identify opportunities to improve resilience, performance and security.
You’ll balance relationship management, commercial ownership and strategic account growth, working alongside our Service Delivery and Technical teams to ensure customers receive an outstanding experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Client Relationship & Account Management
* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision‑makers
* Act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, owning the overall relationship
* Lead quarterly service and strategic review meetings, translating performance into meaningful insight
* Ensure customers feel supported, understood and confident in Air IT as their long‑term partner
Service Delivery & Collaboration
* Work closely with Service Delivery and Technical teams to ensure services meet SLA and customer expectations
* Proactively manage risks, issues and improvement opportunities within accounts
* Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and security threats to bring fresh ideas to clients
Growth, Retention & Commercial Ownership
* Own the retention, growth and profitability of your customer portfolio
* Develop and maintain strategic account plans, including whitespace and opportunity analysis
* Identify and develop upsell and cross‑sell opportunities aligned to client needs
* Take ownership of a personal sales target and pipeline
* Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals and service expansions
Sales, Proposals & Reporting
* Maintain a healthy rolling 3‑month opportunity pipeline
* Produce high‑quality client proposals and technology roadmaps
* Lead the scoping and estimation of projects, working closely with technical specialists
* Keep CRM records, account plans and reporting accurate and up to date
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of Air IT’s Account Management processes
What You Bring
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within an MSP
* Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to hold credible, strategic conversations
* Confidence leading client meetings, QBRs, service reviews and commercial discussions
* A track record of achieving sales targets, growing accounts and retaining customers
* Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
* Comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving technology environment
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience selling a mix of core MSP services, such as:
* Microsoft 365
* Azure and cloud services
* Cyber security solutions (e.g. endpoint protection, backup & disaster recovery, SIEM)
