Job Description
Groundworker Location: EH16 6TX Hours Mon to Fri 36 hours per week Pay - £14.51 per hour Duration Temporary Ongoing The Groundworker will:
* Measure and mark out grave spaces
* Prepare graves with use of an excavator
* Keep pathways clear
* Remove litter
* Maintain the grounds of the cemetery (grass, verges & plants)
* Check headstones for damage and ensure they are safe
* Ensure all paper work is up to date
The Groundworker must:
* Have a full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points
* Have excellent verbal communication skills
* Have a compassionate manner
* Be health and safety conscious
* Be able to carry out tasks on a computer or handheld device
* Be willing to work in all types of weather
