Location and Services
Cygnet Lodge Woking: A 31-bed service providing acute and high-support inpatient rehabilitation for men with complex mental health needs.
Cygnet Hospital Woking: Offers a range of mental health services for men and women in a purpose-built therapeutic environment, close to transport links and the local community.
Role Overview
Support the management of Psychology departments at both sites, deputise for the Head of Psychology, supervise staff, lead projects, and provide specialist training.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deputise for the Head of Department, supporting staff and ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
2. Provide clinical supervision and co-lead department meetings.
3. Lead on projects, support workload management, and assist with disciplinary and sickness processes as needed.
Candidate Requirements
* HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with experience in mental health or forensic settings.
* Trained in clinical supervision.
* Minimum five years post-qualification experience as a senior Practitioner Psychologist.
* Experience in offender treatment, rehabilitation programs, developing training, supervising staff, and research/audit activities.
