Sales Receptionist – Herne Bay
Candidates must live within 30 minutes commute from the club
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week – mornings, evenings and weekends

The Role
We are looking for a Sales Receptionist to play a critical role in providing a first-class experience to members, prospective members and visitors to our health club. You must have the experience, energy and enthusiasm to assist in the management of day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the general running of all aspects of the club, with specific emphasis on the sale of new memberships and ensuring all members are having a great experience.
Shifts will be based on the requirements of the club. We are looking for someone flexible to work evenings and weekends.
Your daily focus will involve:
* Growing a pipeline of new prospects, driving new membership sales, and retaining existing members
* Creating an excellent first impression by providing a warm welcome, tidy appearance, and pleasant manner at all times
* Providing exceptional customer service to all members and guests
* Greeting members and visitors at reception
* Checking in members and verifying membership details
* Registering prospective members and guiding them to the correct person
* Enrolling new members and assisting current members with queries
* Providing information on classes and availability
* Handling questions about renewal and cancellation of memberships
* Ensuring the safety and security of members, guests, and staff at all times
* Handling telephone enquiries and supporting the Gym Manager with member retention calls
* Recording and maintaining clear and accurate records of queries, complaints, lost property, and repairs, ensuring follow-up and resolution by the relevant staff
* Ensuring day-to-day operational tasks are completed, including answering emails and phone calls
* Undertaking other duties such as cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment
