Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering the accounts payable, credit contract and general ledgers; maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial services.
Duties
* An excellent level of understanding and proficiency in Purchase Ledger, Credit Control and general ledger work.
* Perform data entry tasks, maintaining precise records of financial transactions.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
* Utilise accounting software for various accounting tasks.
* Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as needed.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software is essential.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial services.
* Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
