Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team for a 3-month project in London. This role involves performing general tasks such as cutting timbers and conduit stripping while working at height using an IPAF. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the necessary certifications to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labour tasks, including cutting timbers and conduit stripping.
- Operate equipment at height using an IPAF in a safe and responsible manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- IPAF certification (preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar skilled labourer role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Day-to-Day
- Begin each day with a safety briefing and review of daily tasks.
- Carry out assigned tasks such as cutting timbers and stripping conduit.
- Operate IPAF equipment to complete tasks at height.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
