Project Engineer (Pumping Stations)
Location: Thames Water Region
Contract (8‑12 Weeks) – Immediate Start – Competitive Day Rate
Immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to support multiple pumping station refurbishment projects across the Thames Water network.
Responsibilities
* Oversee pumping station refurbishment and upgrade projects across the Thames Water region.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works progress on programme.
* Ensure labour, materials, plant, and equipment are available and scheduled correctly.
* Monitor project progress, site quality, and health & safety compliance.
* Liaise with clients, site managers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
* Resolve site issues and keep projects moving efficiently to programme and budget.
Qualifications
* Proven Project Engineer experience within water, utilities, pumping stations, or industrial infrastructure.
* Able to manage multiple contractors and site activities independently.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.
* Experience working on Thames Water or other UK water utility projects advantageous.
* Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel across the Thames region.
* Available for an immediate start.
