Description As a Network Engineer at Fulham Football Club, you’ll assist in maintaining and improving the Club’s network infrastructure across all sites, including offices, training grounds, and Craven Cottage stadium. You’ll ensure that the Club’s wired and wireless networks are reliable, secure, and performant, supporting everything from day-to-day business operations to matchday and broadcast requirements. You’ll work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to deliver robust connectivity solutions, resolve complex network issues, and contribute to ongoing network upgrades and projects. The role will work alongside our third party network support partner to perform the hands-on activity required on site. Requirements The Network Engineer must: • 3 years of experience in network engineering. • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT). • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network hardware, preferably Cisco. • Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points. • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. • Knowledge of network security principles and practices. • Experience with structured cabling, patching, and rack management. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work under pressure during live events or matchdays. Desirable Skills: • Experience supporting multi-site or event-driven environments. • Exposure to cloud networking. • Familiarity network automation tools. • Understanding of VoIP systems and QoS configuration. • Scripting or automation knowledge. • CCNA or equivalent certification. Qualifications • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Networking, or related field. • Relevant certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network, Fortinet NSE) preferred.
