Job Title: Maintenance Tutor
Location: Norton College, Tewkesbury, GL20 8UQ
Salary: £25,874 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.00pm
Contract: Permanent, Term time only

We are seeking a Maintenance Tutor to join Norton College in Tewkesbury as part of our growth.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee and deliver Motor Maintenance or Construction Qualifications, supporting students to achieve these qualifications while maintaining health and safety standards.
The post holder will manage the maintenance area, ensuring safety documentation (COSHH), risk assessments, and tool safety protocols are up to date.
You will develop positive relationships with students, including those with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs such as Autism, to facilitate access and achievement across academic, vocational, and recreational activities.
You will work closely with the Head of Pastoral Support and Senior Leadership Team to create engaging learning experiences and monitor student progress.
Additional duties or deployment as requested by the Head of School or Pastoral Support Lead may be required.
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Level 3 Construction/Maintenance or Higher, or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanic qualification
* Proven experience in Carpentry, Brick Laying, Motor Mechanics, or Motor Technician skills
* Experience delivering training in College or Apprenticeship settings
* Multi-skills qualification is highly desirable
