As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget, and adhering to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of quantity surveying on highways projects
* Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
* Performing risk and value management and cost control
* Advising on procurement strategy
* Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
* Providing detailed progress reports and financial reporting
* Ensuring projects adhere to legal and quality standards
* Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
Job Requirements
* Experience in quantity surveying within the highways sector
* Strong knowledge of NEC (New Engineering Contract)
* Proficiency in cost management and project cost control
* Keen analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
* Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field
* Experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
