We're seeking a talented React Developer to join our dynamic team in Leeds, working on exciting new projects that reach audiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. What you'll be doing
Building modern, responsive front-end applications using React, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS)
Creating engaging user experiences across platforms and devices
Consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs
Working closely with UX designers, back-end developers, and product teams to deliver high-quality features
Writing clean, maintainable code and collaborating through Git and version control workflows
Applying best practices around accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
Participating in agile development processes and regular sprint planning
What you'll need
2+ years of commercial experience in front-end development
Solid experience with React, including Hooks, Context API, and both class/function-based components
Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
Experience integrating with RESTful services
Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-device compatibility
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
Knowledge of WCAG AA accessibility standards
Experience with Agile methodologies
Strong understanding of ES6+ JavaScript
Familiarity with npm, Webpack, NVM, and other build tools
Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, or advanced state management
Understanding of SEO basics and performance optimisation techniques
Exposure to for front-end tooling or integrations
Experience with CMS platforms like Umbraco, Episerver, or Drupal
Awareness of front-end security considerations and best practices
What we offer
£36,000 – £45,000 salary, based on experience
