What you’ll do on a typical day:
Manage stock accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigation
* Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements to support accurate picking and dispatch
* Use the WMS to complete inventory transactions and produce stock reports
* Ensure stock is stored safely and compliantly, supporting audits as required
* Act as the day‑to‑day stock control contact for the site and customer
* Support continuous improvement to reduce variances and improve efficiency
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in stock control or inventory management within a warehouse or 3PL environment
* Good working knowledge of WMS and core warehouse processes
* A detail‑focused, analytical approach to identifying and resolving stock issues
* Confidence using WMS and Excel (lookups, pivots)
* A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work well in a fast‑paced team
