A well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit a Solicitor to join its Residential Property team.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to manage a busy and varied residential conveyancing caseload within a supportive and collaborative team. The role would suit a solicitor who is comfortable working autonomously while delivering a high standard of client service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a full residential property caseload, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages
* Handling freehold and leasehold transactions
* Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process and ensuring matters progress efficiently
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation
* Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
* Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing
* Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Confident and professional client-facing manner
* Excellent communication and attention to detail
* Experience using case management systems
Desirable:
* Experience handling complex or high-value transactions
* Familiarity with leasehold and new-build matters
