About the Role:
The support we provide is always person-centred, trauma-informed and wellbeing focused. As an Intensive SupportWorker, you’ll work in the community to provide a wide range of flexible intensive support to individuals toencourage independence to maintain and sustain a tenancy and adapt to community life.
Main Responsibilities:
This Intensive Support Worker role working in the Musselburgh area combines settled housing with person-centred,strengths-based and flexible support – as much and for as long as someone wants it. This role involves working35 hours per week respectively on a rota covering various shift patterns including select weekend work. Thisrole operates across Musselburgh, with an office based at our service North High Street Service. The IntensiveSupport Worker will:
* Provide intervention and a range of supports for new referrals and existing Supported People in Blue Triangle’ssupported accommodation services and move-on accommodation.
* To provide trauma-informed, person-centred,and wellbeing-focused support for people supported by Blue Triangle.
* To support, review, monitor andevaluate through our SHARP monitoring tool to achieve a positive person-centered outcome for the people we workwith in line with Blue Triangle’s statutory and legislative requirements.
* To support peopletransitioning from supported accommodation into the local community or referred from other sources, helping themon their personal pathway towards a settled tenancy, building their tenancy and life managementskills.

* To join us, you need to have a genuine passion for helping people.
* Ideally, possess 1 year of experienceof working with vulnerable people and challenging behaviour which can be from personal, voluntary and/orprofessional experience.
* Demonstrated commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordancewith Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission forthe Regulation of Care and the Associations policies and procedures.
* Ability to relate empathetically topeople and recognise their right to choice and independence.
* Ability to work flexibly and as a loneworker.
* Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
* Ideally hold an SVQ level3 or above.
