I am currently recruiting for a lovely position for someone who has experience as a Supplier Development Manager or Commercial Contracts Manager within a defence environment.

The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen due to increased deliveries for a Supply Chain Manager/Supplier Development Manager to join ISP in the Sub-Assemblies team. Successful candidates will leverage their experience and knowledge to ensure effective Supplier performance, capability, and risk management. The team works across all programmes in a dynamic environment, managing and implementing both mature and new technologies.
What they are looking for from you:
* A degree-level supply chain professional with experience working internationally in high-technology companies.
* Experience in supply chain management or as a Supplier Development Manager within Aerospace, Defence, or Manufacturing sectors.
* A proven ability to:
* Improve Supplier Performance (Delivery and Quality) using appropriate tools and lean methodologies.
* Carry out capacity audits to identify bottlenecks, yield, resources, and sub-tier activities to develop an industrial view of suppliers.
* Manage a portfolio of suppliers daily, report on performance, and address supply chain risks.
* Assess supply chain and supplier capabilities to meet current and future delivery profiles.
* Create and validate process flows and lead time analyses.
* Apply problem-solving techniques such as DMAIC to develop root cause analysis and improvement plans within the supply chain.
* Identify, escalate, and mitigate potential supply chain risks with appropriate plans.
* Conduct analysis and prepare/deliver executive summaries.
* Assist in departmental supply chain excellence initiatives.
