An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to deliver commercial fit-out and infrastructure projects across London.
This role offers the opportunity to lead fast-track projects with M&E values ranging from £2m–£10m, working alongside leading main contractors on high-profile commercial schemes. The position provides a clear pathway into senior leadership and Director roles within a progressive and expanding business.
Role Overview
You will take overall responsibility for the mechanical delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead project teams on fast-paced commercial programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead mechanical delivery on commercial fit-out and infrastructure projects
* Manage project teams, subcontractors, and specialist supply chain partners
* Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, and client teams
* Oversee programme management to ensure delivery on fast-track schedules
* Manage project budgets, variations, and commercial performance in collaboration with the commercial team
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and quality standards
* Oversee testing, commissioning, and project handover including documentation
Experience & Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Manager within the UK M&E sector
* Strong background delivering commercial fit-out or infrastructure projects
* Experience managing M&E project values between £2m–£10m
* Experience working with leading main contractors on London projects
* Strong commercial and programme management capability
* SMSTS and CSCS (Manager level) preferred
