Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining and catering, with the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. Duties
* Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Develop and implement seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
* Manage inventory control and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy shifts.
* Monitor food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in every dish served.
* Conduct regular inventory assessments and manage ordering of supplies as needed.
* Enforce health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
* Plan and execute banquet events, ensuring all catering requirements are met.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary field.
* Strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management.
* Expertise in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
* Excellent organizational skills with experience in inventory management and control.
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; additional certifications in food safety are a plus.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments effectively.
